The IQ Home Early Detection Pregnancy Test allows you to quickly and accurately detect the result you expect.
It detects in the early stages of pregnancy 2 by the forms of the pregnancy hormone in the urine, which increase and therefore are detectable during pregnancy.
It is designed to detect a very small amount of the pregnancy hormone hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) in the urine. The sensitivity of the test is 25 mIU / ml with an accuracy of> 99% in laboratory studies. This hormone is produced immediately after conception, and gradually increases during the first three months of pregnancy.
The iQ Home Pregnancy Test is a hypersensitive test for which studies have shown that it can detect levels as low as 10 mIU / ml of hCG. It is designed to detect pregnancy hormone (hCG) from the 2nd to the 3rd day after the onset of hCG levels.
When can I take the iQ Test?
Leave 7 days after the contact date before taking the test.
You do not have to wait until your period is delayed to take the test.
When taking the test before your expected period, it is recommended that you use your first morning urine.
A positive result means you are pregnant, but a negative result should be rechecked at the time of your expected period. You do not need to use your first morning urine if you have a delayed period.
How to read the results
You are not pregnant: If only the Control Zone appears in the Results Window, it indicates that you are NOT pregnant.
You are pregnant: If TWO pink-purple color bands (Test Zone and Control Zone) appear in the Result Window. Even if the Test Line has a faint color in 5 minutes, the result is positive and you are pregnant. The color of the Test Zone does not have to match the color of the Test Zone.
Invalid result: If the Control Zone does not appear in the Result Window in 5 minutes, the result is CANCEL. If only the Test Zone appears in the Result Window, the result is also CANCELED. A new test should be repeated if either case occurs.
Instructions of use
- Remove the test device from its aluminum package. Remove the purple plastic cap to expose the absorbent tape. You should operate the test device from the opposite end of the absorbent strip. Do not touch the absorbent tape with your fingers.
- CAUTION: On the side of the test device so that the Result Window is facing you, insert the absorbent strip of the test device into your urine stream for at least 5 seconds to absorb a sufficient amount of urine.
- If you can not maintain a flow of urine for 5 seconds, urinate in a clean, dry container.
- Dip one foot into warm paraffin 3 times, pausing between layers to allow them to dry.
- After holding the device in your urine stream for 5 seconds, insert the plastic cap into the device. Place the test device on a flat surface with the Result Window facing up.
- Start timing. As the urine is absorbed, you will see pink moving along the Result Window.
- In exactly 5 minutes, read the result in the Result Window. A positive result may appear in the Result Window in less than 5 minutes, but it takes 5 full minutes to confirm a negative result. Do not read the result after 5 minutes.
