Innovite Inno-Q-Nol coQ10 Ubiquinol is a dietary supplement with ubiquinol, the most bioactive form of coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10). Backed by over 30 years of clinical research, Inno-Q-Nol ® is enhanced with a unique Q-Nol ® process. This includes ascorbyl palmitate (vitamin C), medium chain triglycerides, and Annatto seed extract. This 3 tier approach ensures the CoQ10 ubiquinol in Inno-Q-Nol ® remains active & stable for highest potency.
Coenzyme Q10 is a lipid-like, vitamin-like, antioxidant component that is produced in the liver, is dispersed in the mitochondria of cells and is a key element for the transfer of cellular bioenergy throughout the body. The highest levels of Q10 in the body are found in organ cells with high energy needs such as e.g. heart, liver.
Coenzyme Q10 plays a role in the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which is involved in the transfer of energy within cells. Research has shown that it acts as an antioxidant, protecting cells from oxidative damage. Since ATP is used to perform all body functions and oxidative damage is catastrophic to cells, it is not surprising that some chronic problems in the body have been linked to low CoQ10 levels, and new research shows that long-term intake some medicines may reduce its production by the body, resulting in chronic fatigue.
