Lamberts L-Glutamine 500 mg is a powdered nutritional supplement with the amino acid glutamine in a free free form.
Glutamine is a non-essential amino acid as it can be synthesized by the body. Essentially it is the amino acid found at a higher concentration in our body, with the highest concentrations being found in the cells of the intestinal mucosa (which is used to produce energy) and in muscle tissue. It is often used for rehabilitation by athletes, as intense training can deplete glutamine stores in muscles.
This formulation is an easy way to obtain high amounts of glutamine as 5 grams of powder provide 5 grams of free glutamine (for maximum absorption and bioavailability).
Dosage
For good intestinal and immune health: 5gr / day. For recovery after a hard workout: 5-10gr / day.
Instructions of use
Dissolve 5gr of powdered protein in milk shakes, water or fruit juice before exercise. Another 5g can be taken before bedtime.
Contraindications
This product is not recommended for children or for pregnant or lactating women.
