Lamberts Griffonia Seed Extract is a dietary supplement with 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-hydroxytryptophan). 5-HTP is the hydroxylated form of the amino acid tryptophan, which is found in protein foods such as meat and dairy products. Lamberts 5-HTP is derived from the seeds of the African plant Griffonia simplicifolia.
The body produces 5-HTP from tryptophan, which is then converted to the neurotransmitter serotonin in the brain. Serotonin is one of the most important neurotransmitters in the body, involved in many biochemical reactions and conditions such as sleep regulation, depression-mood, anxiety and nervousness, appetite, body temperature, and pain sensation.

Dosage
1-3 tablets daily.
Instructions of use
Preferably to be taken half an hour before meals or half an hour before bedtime. Start on one tablet and increase if necessary. 5-HTP is best taken for periods of up to 3 months.
Disintegration Time Less than 1 hour.
Contraindications
This product is not recommended for pregnant or lactating women. Mild drowsiness may occur in some people. It is advisable not to drive or operate machinery until you determine how 5-HTP affects you. Consult your Doctor if you are taking antidepressants.
Side effects
At very high doses (> 900 mg), nausea or loss of appetite may occur.
Storage
Keep the product in a dry, cool place up to 25°C (77°F), and protect it from light. Inappropriate storage conditions, such as prolonged exposure to sunlight, high temperature, humidity, and freezing conditions, may result in alterations to the product.
