Chaste Berry (Vitex) is used for menstrual cycle disorders, to relieve the symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS), and for the symptoms of menopause.
Vitex berries used in the preparation of the extract contain a wide range of phytochemically active substances, including flavonoids and a group of chemicals belonging to the iridoids, including aucubin and agnuside.
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the Committee for Herbal Medicinal Products (HMPC) have approved the use of agnus castus as a traditional herbal remedy for relieving the symptoms of PMS.
The active ingredient of the herb has been used for more than 10 years. Its effectiveness and safety are now well established and accepted by the EMA.
Dong Quai (Angelica sinensis) contained in this preparation is a tonic herb for the female reproductive system. It is especially useful in cases of premenstrual tension, abnormal menstruation and in reducing the symptoms of menopause, such as hot flashes. *

Contraindications
Not indicated for treatment with anticoagulants. It is also not indicated in case of endometriosis or fibroids.
