Nature's Plus MSM, Rx-Wellness is a nutritional formula with methylsulfonylmethane.
MSM is a sulfide compound that has been shown to relieve bone and joint symptoms (pain, inflammation), and is indicated for use in muscle injuries. The joints contain a thin layer between the bones which acts as a protective "cushion" to reduce friction and smooth movement. Due to clinical conditions (such as osteoarthritis) or chronic stress (such as athletes and the elderly) there is degeneration of this thin protective layer.
MSM is an organic sulfur of high bioavailability that, especially in the presence of vitamin C, improves overall health, while giving very good results in many special cases, such as allergies and asthma (taking 2-3 weeks), arthritis from cartilage damage (only MSM or with Glucosamine or Chondroitin), broken nails and weak hair. *
