Metapharm Hemachol Merosyn is a nutritional formula for maintaining normal cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood.
The phytosterols it contains lower blood cholesterol because they have the same structure as its receptors, with the result that food cholesterol can not be absorbed normally. Artichoke concentrate has a beneficial effect on liver function and regulates cholesterol and triglyceride levels. *
Red rice yeast contains the active Monacolins (Monacolin K) that inhibit the synthesis of cholesterol. Sugarcane extract contains Polycosanol which inhibits the production of an enzyme which is responsible for the production of cholesterol. The above combination of substances is enhanced by coenzyme Q10 and niacin, which improve the overall performance of the cardiovascular system, giving energy to the mitochondria of cells. *
