Health Aid's Pregnazon is a balanced formula with folic acid and 20 more ingredients that offer maximum nutritional support during periods of conception, during pregnancy, and even during breastfeeding.
What is needed is sufficient amounts of folic acid which contributes to the proper development of the maternal tissue during pregnancy, the neural tube and the brain of the fetus. Vitamin B12 is very important for cell division and the normal formation of red blood cells. Iron plays a beneficial role with vitamin C for healthy mental development, while zinc contributes to the normal synthesis of DNA.
Supplemental folic acid intake (400 mcg) increases maternal levels. Low folic acid levels are a risk factor for developing neural tube defects in the developing fetus [Official Health Insurance by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA)].
Dosage
1 tablet daily.
