Health Aid Livercare is a dietary supplement for liver health. The liver is the body's metabolic center and is responsible for "filtering" any substance that enters it.
There are some herbs that have been studied more in maintaining liver health. Research has shown that ingredients such as sylimarin and cynarin found in Milk Thistle and Artichoke can regulate the process of digestion through bile secretion and in combination with other herbs such as Dandelion can affect the activity of enzymes.
Turmeric is rich in curcumin for antioxidant protection while lipotropic agents such as Methionine, Choline & Inositol are precursors for the production of lecithin (natural "emulsifier" of fat). This way, fat is better metabolized in the body and does not accumulate in the liver.
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) /HMPC, have approved the traditional use of the following herbs:
- Milk thistle to relieve the symptoms of digestive disorders, the feeling of fullness and indigestion and to support liver function.
- Turmeric as a digestive aid in cases of indigestion and bloating and bile secretion disorders.
- Taraxacum and artichoke to relieve symptoms associated with mild digestive disorders such as abdominal fullness, flatulence, and slow digestion.
Dosage
Adults and people over 16 years old: 2 to 4 tablets daily.
Instructions of use
Preferably to be taken after meals.
Contraindications
Do not take in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients contained.
Cautions
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Storage
Keep the product in a dry, cool place up to 25°C (77°F), and protect it from light. Inappropriate storage conditions, such as prolonged exposure to sunlight, high temperature, humidity, and freezing conditions, may result in alterations to the product.
