Eviol Vitamin D3 2200 IU is a dietary supplement with fat-soluble vitamin D3 in the active form of cholecalciferol, for bone health and strengthening the immune system.
Vitamin D, also known as the "sun vitamin", is synthesized in the body and specifically in the skin under the influence of sunlight, while it is found in certain foods, such as mushrooms or egg yolk. Frequent use of sunscreen, poor diet and age are common causes of vitamin D deficiency.*
Vitamin D helps maintain normal blood calcium levels, as well as the normal absorption of calcium and phosphorus. Also, vitamin D3 plays an important role in maintaining the normal condition of bones and teeth and is essential for the proper functioning of the immune system.*
Suitable for people with vitamin D deficiency, people with reduced sun exposure, with signs of osteoporosis and an ideal dietary supplement for the elderly. In particular, in the elderly it reduces the risk of falls associated with body instability and muscle weakness. Fall is a risk factor for bone fractures in men and women aged 60 and over.

Contraindications
Taking Vitamin D supplements with> 4000IU is recommended to be accompanied by monitoring of blood calcium levels, as there is a risk of causing hypercalcaemia.
Side effects
At doses greater than 10,000 IU per day, diarrhea or constipation, decreased appetite, dry mouth and metallic taste may occur.
Storage
Keep the product in a dry, cool place up to 25°C (77°F), and protect it from light. Inappropriate storage conditions, such as prolonged exposure to sunlight, high temperature, humidity, and freezing conditions, may result in alterations to the product.
