Doctor's Formulas Vitamin D3 2000 IU is a vitamin D3 supplement. D3 is the natural form of vitamin D and is considered to be more absorbable.
It contributes to the normal absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus, to the maintenance of normal bone and tooth condition, to the maintenance of normal muscle function, to the normal functioning of the immune system. It plays an important role in the process of cell division. *
Vitamin D belongs to fat-soluble vitamins and is produced by the body when our body is exposed to the sun. It is the most digestible form of vitamin D. The extensive use of sunscreen, clothing, reduced sun exposure, daily indoor work, dark skin, can reduce the intrinsic production of vitamin D.
Dosage
1 softgel daily.
Instructions of use
Preferably to be taken after meals.
Contraindications
It is recommended that blood calcium levels be monitored, as there is a risk of hypercalcaemia at doses of Vitamin D> 4000IU.
Side effects
At doses greater than 10,000 IU per day, diarrhea or constipation, decreased appetite, dry mouth and metallic taste may occur.
Storage
Keep the product in a dry, cool place up to 25°C (77°F), and protect it from light. Inappropriate storage conditions, such as prolonged exposure to sunlight, high temperature, humidity, and freezing conditions, may result in alterations to the product.
