Doctor's Formulas SAMe S-Adenosyl-Methionine is a dietary supplement containing a derivative of the amino acid methionine that is naturally synthesized by the body in combination with B-complex vitamins.
SAMe is important for the process of methylation, especially in the liver and brain, and is a major source of methyl in the synthesis of hormones, nucleic acids, proteins, phospholipids and neurotransmitters such as dopamine and serotonin. Concomitant intake of B-complex vitamins and in particular folic acid, vitamin B6, and vitamin B12 increases S-adenosyl-methionine levels.

Dosage
1-2 capsules daily.
Contraindications
Do not take the product in the following cases:
(1) Hypersensitivity to any of its components.
(2) If you suffer from bipolar disorder.
(3) If you are taking antidepressants, consult your doctor before taking the product.
Storage
Keep the product in a dry, cool place up to 25°C (77°F), and protect it from light. Inappropriate storage conditions, such as prolonged exposure to sunlight, high temperature, humidity, and freezing conditions, may result in alterations to the product.
