Iovir® for the nose is a Class IIa sterile medical device, and European certified, for nasal congestion. Contains the natural substances Carragelose® (yi carrageenan) and kappa-carrageenan, which come from sea red algae.
It creates a protective barrier to common cold viruses and traps the upper respiratory viruses indiscriminately and extensively, preventing their attachment to the mucosa and consequently their proliferation.
In addition, it forms a moisturizing protective film. Due to the action of Carragelose, this membrane stays longer in the nasal mucosa and serves as a natural barrier against external influences. This membrane of normal moisture also supports body's natural defense mechanisms against common cold viruses. Suitable for:
- Preventive and prolonged hydration of the nasal mucosa for the prophylaxis and supportive treatment of complaints related to dry or irritated nasal mucosa

Instructions of use
At the first signs of influenza (eg sore throat, tingling or runny nose, etc.) apply 1 spray to each nostril at least 3 times a day. Treatment should begin as soon as possible after the first symptoms of colds occur and should continue until symptoms have passed.
To moisten the dry nasal mucosa, spray the nose several times a day, depending on your needs.
Before first application, press the pump several times if necessary, until uniform spraying is achieved. Do not place the nozzle deeply into the nose to avoid injury. Hold the vial at an angle to your nose for spraying. Replace the nozzle with the protective cap after each use.
