Hairstyles, hair dryer, cold, and heat are few of the factors that hurt and dry your hair daily. Coconut oil is a natural product that, thanks to its rich composition, can help you regain the lost vitality of your hair.

Factors that affect your hair

Our hair every day suffer either due to environmental conditions or due to bad treatment. Hairstyling, styling products, frequent hair dryer, inappropriate shampoos, sun, sea, and chlorine are some of the aforementioned factors that

-affect the quality of the scalp

-slow down hair growth

-lead to the destruction of the hair and the split ends of the hair

-cause frizz

What is coconut oil and when can we use it

Coconut oil derives from coconuts and it is rich in essential fatty acids and vitamin E. It helps restore hair moisture while nourishes them. Coconut oil can also penetrate the scalp and restore moisture to hair and skin, thus reducing dryness.

Thanks to its high nutritional value, coconut oil also helps hair to grow healthy and strong. It is ideal for hair that grows very slowly or even severely damaged hair as it provides them softness and shine. In addition, coconut oil helps to hydrate the scalp, thus reducing dry dandruff and dry skin.

How to use it

Coconut oil, like many other natural oils, at low temperatures, solidifies while it becomes liquid at room temperature. It can be used both in wet and dry hair, but in wet hair, it can be used more easily.

To make a hair mask it is necessary to heat the oil first, in order to become liquid. Use a good amount of coconut oil on your hair. Usually, 3-5 tablespoons are enough. Then comb your hair with a sparse comb so the coconut oil goes to all over your hair. Put a hair cap or wrap your hair with a membrane and leave them for about 1 hour or even for the whole night. Then wash out the oil with a moisturizing shampoo.

If your hair frizz very easily then you can put a small amount of coconut oil on your fingertips and apply evenly to your hair, avoiding the roots and emphasizing at hair edges.

For dry scalp and dry dandruff, you can put use coconut oil 2-4 times a week, depending on the severity of the problem, make massage at the scalp and skin and allow it to be absorbed for a few minutes. If coconut oil comes in contact with the skin, prefer pure organic oils.
