   Cannabis is a plant that has been cultivated in central Asia. It is used for thousand years for medical reasons, in pharmaceuticals, in cometics as well as in nutrition. Belongs to Canabaceae family and consists of 3 species Cannabis sativa, Cannabis indica and Cannabis ruderalis.

   Edible hemp seed oil is produced by Cannabis sativa specie and has a very high nutritional value, compared to other plant oils. It is rich in chlorofyll, antioxidants, carotenes, phytosterols, vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B6, C, D, E, phospholipids, calcium, sulphur, potasium, iron, zinc, phosphorus.

 Hemp seed oil in daily nutrition

   Is a light plant oil with a fine nut like flavour. Must not be heated and can be consumed raw or in salads and cold dishes with rice and vegetables. In combination with olive oil an optimal ratio of omega 3,6 and 9 fatty acids is achieved. Choose a cold pressed organic hemp oil that contains all nutricious ingredients and antioxidants of hemp seeds.

Hemp seed oil side effects

   Consumption of edible hemp seed oil in amount equal to 1-2 table spoons daily has no side effects. Larger doses must be avoided from those that take antiplatelet drug and from those with a history of colitis, coronary heart diseasa and chronic fat malabsorption syndromes.

   Cannabis sativa edible hemp seed oil must not be confused with canabis indica that it is used for medical reasons. Cannabis sativa edible hemp seed oil is a nutraceutical food and does not contain any psychotropic substances such as tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD).
