Athletic performance and resistance

Sports performance is largely determined by both strength, technique and endurance.

During exercise, there are two main mechanisms of energy production which are used selectively or in combination, depending on type of sport. The aerobic mechanism uses oxygen in order to burn glucose, thus provides a lot of energy, unlike the anaerobic mechanism. Sports which have high intensity and/or short duration (spinning, sprint, etc. use the anaerobic mechanism of energy production. A by-product of anaerobic glycolysis is the production of lactic acid. To some extent, cells have the ability to metabolize lactic acid, but when the lactic acid production rate is high, the body is unable to metabolize thus accumulates in cells. Due to acid production, cellular ph drops and thereby efficiency and capacity of muscles to contract is reduced. Other characteristics are fatigue, pain and possibly in prolonged exercise dizziness and nausea.

Raising the threshold of lactic acid production results in better athletic performance and greater resistance to exercise. Zeolite is a natural compound derived from the compound of lava and seawater. As mineral has the ability to bind toxins, heavy metals, free radicals and ammonium ions, helping to detoxify the body and regulate cell ph. Athletes have oxidative stress due to high production of free radicals. Free radicals react with free oxygen, limiting it from the energy production process. Taking zeolite results in neutralizing free radicals, leaving oxygen molecules free for use in other processes, like energy production.

FL100 is a dietary supplement that is designed to prevent lactic acidosis and detoxification of body based on zeolite. For more information about FL100 you can click  here.
