Evdermia Palmogen is a nutritional supplement for the treatment of androgenetic type of alopecia. It contains as an active ingredient Saw palmetto which comes from the fruit of the Serenoa repens plant.
Taking saw palmetto helps treat hereditary androgenetic alopecia by reducing the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone, which causes hair follicles to shrink and reduces the anagen phase of the hair. That is, it manages to increase the life cycle of the hair and limit hair loss.
Studies have shown that Saw Palmetto is an effective anti-androgen as it lowers dihydrotestosterone (DHT) levels in the body by inhibiting the action of 5-alpha reductase.
Saw Palmetto has been shown to be safe to use and is very well tolerated by most people.
Dosage
1 capsule per day.
Instructions of use
One soft capsule a day after food for six months, which means a stable intake of at least 85%-95% fatty acids and 0.2-0.4% sterols (stable intake of active ingredients).
Contraindications
Contraindicated with anticoagulants, contraceptives and drugs for benign prostatic hyperplasia. It is recommended to be taken at a distance from iron preparations.
