Nature's Plus Vitamin D3 / Vitamin K2 formula contains vitamin D3 in combination with vitamin K2 for bone health. Vitamin D belongs to the category of fat-soluble vitamins, and is produced in the body, on the skin under the influence of sunlight and ultraviolet radiation. It is found in two forms, D2 and in its most active form, D3 (cholecalciferol).
Vitamin D helps maintain the normal condition of bones and teeth, the normal functioning of the immune system, the maintenance of normal blood calcium levels, the maintenance of normal muscle function, the normal absorption / utilization of calcium and phosphorus organism.
Vitamin K is essential for normal bone function and normal blood clotting. *
