Nature's Plus Vitamin C with Rose Hips is a nutritional supplement of vitamin C in combination with wild rose extract, sustained release.
Vitamin C is an antioxidant vitamin necessary for the health of the body and especially important for maintaining healthy skin. It is also necessary for the effective functioning of the immune system.
The main functions of vitamin C are to maintain collagen, ligaments, bones, teeth and to strengthen the walls of blood vessels and gums. It plays an important role in the absorption of iron which is necessary in the formation of erythrocytes, as well as in the utilization of folic acid. *
Vitamin C contributes to the normal metabolism of energy, to the normal functioning of the nervous system, to the normal psychological function, to the reduction of fatigue and tiredness, to the maintenance of the normal function of the immune system during and after intense physical exercise. *

It is recommended to be taken after the meal.
Contraindications
The use of very high doses (above 2000mg), is contraindicated in people with kidney problems.
Side effects
At doses greater than 2000mg per day and with prolonged use, toxic effects such as diarrhea, nausea and oxalate kidney stones may occur.

Keep the product in a dry, cool place up to 25°C (77°F), and protect it from light. Inappropriate storage conditions, such as prolonged exposure to sunlight, high temperature, humidity, and freezing conditions, may result in alterations to the product.
