  • In the form of methylcobalamin
  • For the nervous system and hematopoiesis
  • Gluten-free and lactose-free

Lamberts B12 is a dietary vitamin B12 supplement in the form of methylcobalamin. It is the only natural product containing cobalt, due to its vibrant red color. It is found in foods of animal origin, such as meat.

Vitamin B12 deficiency results in megoblastic anemia due to either B12 deficiency, folic acid deficiency or poor absorption of B12 from the stomach due to lack or destruction of endogenous B12 absorption factor. Deficiency is usually observed in people who fast for long periods or follow vegetarian diets.

Vitamin B12 has many biochemical effects. It is involved in neural regeneration and function, bone marrow formation, hematopoiesis, and genetic information (DNA) synthesis. Vitamin B12  plays a role in the process of cell division and contributes :

  • the normal functioning of metabolic processes aimed at energy production
  • in the normal functioning of the nervous system
  • in the normal metabolism of homocysteine
  • in normal psychological functioning
  • in the normal formation of red blood cells
  • in the normal functioning of the immune system
  • in reducing fatigue and tiredness*
