Power of Nature Platinum Range Omegalen Ultra Odourless is a dietary supplement with high purity fish oil that provides omega 3 fatty acids for heart health.
Contains molecularly distilled fish oil with a special coating, for maximum absorption and without unwanted aftertaste. It is combined with tocopherols for their special antioxidant protection, in order to offer a rich and efficient mixture of total Ω3 unsaturated fatty acids.
Omega-3 is a group of essential unsaturated fatty acids that cannot be synthesized by our body, so we must necessarily take them daily from our diet. Of this group of omega-3 fatty acids, two are the most prominent: EPA and DHA.
DHA & EPA help maintain normal blood triglyceride levels (daily intake of 2 g DHA in combination with EPA), normal blood pressure (daily intake of 3 gr DHA in combination with EPA) and normal heart function. Preferably to be taken after a meal or according to the instructions of a healthcare professional.
Contraindications
EPA lowers blood pressure, thus increasing the effect of antihypertensive drugs. In addition, it is contraindicated while on anticoagulant therapy. Furthermore, studies have shown that fish oils reduce the effect of birth control pills.
Side effects
People with shellfish and fish allergies are more likely to be allergic to omega 3 fatty acid supplements.
