Omega 3 fatty acids belong to beneficial polyunsaturated fats and are divided into two categories, alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which is found naturally in plant foods, such as linseed and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), contained in fish.
