Systane Balance is an eye drops that provide lubricating eye drops and offer relief from the symptoms of dry eye due to meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD).
The Meibom glands or meibomian glands (or tarsal glands) are some tiny formations located on the border behind the lashes, both in the upper and lower eyelids, inside the tarsus of the eye. In fact, they secrete an oily liquid which is essential for good eye lubrication.
