Lamberts Zinc Citrate 15 mg is a dietary supplement containing zinc in its citrate form.

It is one of the 24 minerals required for survival and is found in beef, oysters, almonds, eggs, sardines, salmon and cheese. It is found in various forms such as: Piclinic Zinc, Zinc Sulfate, Citric Zinc, Serum Zinc, Gluconate Zinc, Zinc Acetate, Zinc Glycerol, Oxide.

As our body does not have a zinc storage system, we must receive it regularly either from food or from dietary supplements.

Zinc is an extremely important metal for the body as it contributes: *

  • In normal cognitive function and in normal function of immune system
  • In the normal synthesis of DNA, in cell division and in the protection of cells from oxidative stress

Dosage

1 tablet daily.

Instructions of use

Preferably to be taken with a meal.

Contraindications

Do not take with antibiotics or medicines containing cortisone. Long-term use of high doses of zinc (> 25mg) may affect copper and iron levels in the body.

Side effects

Doses of zinc above 200mg can be toxic and cause nausea and vomiting.

Cautions

Zinc should only be taken with the consent of the physician. Some patients when taking zinc on an empty stomach may develop mild gastrointestinal disorders, such as nausea. If something like this happens, then you should avoid taking zinc fasting. Also, long-term zinc intake of 25mg or more can lead to anemia.

Storage

Keep the product in a dry, cool place up to 25°C (77°F), and protect it from light. Inappropriate storage conditions, such as prolonged exposure to sunlight, high temperature, humidity, and freezing conditions, may result in alterations to the product.
