Now Evening Primrose Oil 500 mg is a rich in polyunsaturated fatty acid dietary supplement which includes omega 6 Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA).
Evening Primrose Oil is one of the few natural sources of a polyunsaturated fatty acid called Gamma-linoleic acid (GLA). GLA is the precursor of a particularly important prostaglandin of PGE1, which is involved in a variety of important biological functions.
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the Committee for Herbal Medicines (HMPC) have approved the use of evening primrose oil as a traditional herbal remedy for itchy skin.
