The European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the Committee for Herbal Medicines (HMPC) have approved the use of black cohosh as a traditional herbal remedy for menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes and excessive sweating. Sage is traditionally used to relieve excessive sweating.
