Lanes Vitamin C 1000 mg is a vitamin C supplement, ideal for daily strengthening of the immune system, skin health and protection of the body from harmful free radicals.
The main functions of vitamin C are to maintain the collagen of bones, teeth and to strengthen the walls of blood vessels and gums. It plays an important role in the absorption of iron which is necessary in the formation of erythrocytes, as well as in the utilization of folic acid. In addition, it contributes to the proper functioning of the nervous system and the protection of cells from oxidative stress.*

Contraindications
The use of very high doses of Vitamin C (above 2000mg), is contraindicated in people with kidney problems.
Side effects
At doses greater than 2000mg per day and with prolonged use, toxic effects such as diarrhea, nausea and oxalate kidney stones may occur.

Keep the product in a dry, cool place up to 25°C (77°F), and protect it from light. Inappropriate storage conditions, such as prolonged exposure to sunlight, high temperature, humidity, and freezing conditions, may result in alterations to the product.
