Lamberts Cinnamon is a dietary supplement that contains ingredients from the cinnamon bark. Cinnamon is a plant of the Lauraceae family. Its best known use is as a spice, but it has been found to contain valuable oils and ingredients such as cinnamaldehyde, cinnamic acid and cinnamate. Cinnamon is traditionally used to treat bad breath and gingivitis. It also has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, properties and can help regulate blood glucose levels.

One of the most well-known effects of cinnamon is its ability to regulate blood glucose levels. All types of phenolic cinnamon constituents act against the glycosylation process by reducing the end products of advanced glycosylation AGEs.
