A. Vogel Linoforce is an herbal dietary supplement for constipation with flaxseed, senna and frangula.
Flaxseed is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids and linseed oil (linoleic, linolenic and oleic acid). In addition, it is a source of fiber (lignans) and that is why its main action is due. Lignans are soluble fiber which swells and creates a protective gel in the intestinal mucosa, thus giving a laxative effect.
Senna and frangula help to mobilize the intestine and relieve constipation.
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the Committee for Herbal Medicinal Products (HMPC) have approved the use of:
- of senna and frangula as a traditional herbal aid for short-term use for the relief of occasional constipation.
- of flaxseed as a traditional herbal remedy for short-term use for the relief of occasional constipation or for cases where an increase in volume is required and to facilitate the passage of feces in the intestine.
Dosage
Adults and children over 12 years: 1/2 or 1 measuring tape (2.4 ~ 4.8g) with at least 150 ml of water.
Instructions of use
It can be added to salads or cereals) and eaten in the afternoon or evening. It is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking it.
Contraindications
Avoid using Linoforce in cases of narrowing or blockage of the intestine, if you suffer from kidney disease, Crown disease or ulcerative colitis, or in cases of severe constipation that persists for more than 2 weeks. Do not take during pregnancy and lactation. Avoid use by people with dehydration, edema or electrolyte disturbances, by women with a history of hormone-dependent cancers. Do not combine Linoforce with medicines such as corticosteroids, diuretics, laxatives or supplements such as licorice.
Storage
Keep the product in a dry, cool place up to 25°C (77°F), and protect it from light. Inappropriate storage conditions, such as prolonged exposure to sunlight, high temperature, humidity, and freezing conditions, may result in alterations to the product.
Keep out of reach of children.
