Now Vitamin D-3 1,000 IU dietary supplement contains vitamin D in the active form of cholecalciferol. Vitamin D3 or cholecalciferol is a form similar to that produced in the body by sun exposure, and is therefore more absorbable.

Take the capsule after a fatty meal.
Contraindications
There is a risk of hypercalcaemia if you take more than 4000 IU of Vitamin D a day. It is therefore advisable to check blood calcium levels before taking such doses.
Side effects
At doses greater than 10,000 IU per day, diarrhea or constipation, decreased appetite, dry mouth and metallic taste may occur.
Cautions
Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, breast-feeding, on medication or have health problems. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Keep in a cool and dry environment.

Keep the product in a dry, cool place up to 25°C (77°F), and protect it from light. Inappropriate storage conditions, such as prolonged exposure to sunlight, high temperature, humidity, and freezing conditions, may result in alterations to the product.
